Meet the team

Second Half Network was founded by business students who saw how little support athletes get for the part that comes after sport, and built the thing that was missing. Its founders study at the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

Legal Studies in Business, minor in Entrepreneurship

Scott built the Second Half Network platform and leads the company's engineering, technology, and university outreach. He is the company's spokesperson, and the person a school or a prospective mentor hears from first. He is also lead fundraiser for the Fight Against Suicide event in New Orleans, and is stepping into the ring himself.

Jack founded Second Half Network after living the transition away from college sport himself. At Tulane he has served as an EMT, a Lepage Fellow, and a bullpen catcher for the baseball team. He is helping bring the Fight Against Suicide initiative to campus.

Noah leads student-athlete relations, runs internal operations and marketing, and co-leads mentor outreach. He has worked for two sports agencies and currently works in Tulane Football's recruiting department. He co-leads the company's podcast, Bullpen Talk.

Justin leads legal affairs. His focus is the legal, business, and strategic side of sport, and he plans to attend law school and build a career in sports law. He joined to reach as many student-athletes as the program can carry.

Dustin leads business development and growth, co-leads mentor outreach, and owns partnerships and relationships. As a Tulane freshman he started a late-night food business with no money and grew it to nearly $30,000 in sales in a little over a year. He spent this past summer interning with the Private Bank at JPMorgan.

Peter Cook, Second Half Network

Peter leads student-athlete alumni relations, building and managing the network of former athletes who mentor, hire, and open doors for current ones. He is the founder of SummerRefund, an AI-assisted tax filing platform built for college students, and has negotiated its transmission partnership, incorporation, and IP from scratch. He spent this past summer interning on the asset management tax team at PwC in Boston.
